Hungry Creek Bed and Breakfast is located in a Tuscan villa set on 1/12 acres of gardens bordering the Puhoi River, leading to historic Puhoi.

Our warm, friendly and spacious accommodation is welcoming and secluded and as hosts we feel it is important to respect your privacy. The interior scheme is split level with high ceilings, slate, plaster and Rimu finishes and large windows. The main accommodation, bathrooms and guest lounge are all on one level and accessibility friendly.

We have three rooms to choose from: one twin single, one double bedroom and one large luxury suite with large private in floor spa, large ensuite with walk in shower for two and its own private access.
Each room is north facing and each opens onto a shared but private courtyard overlooking the grounds.

Relax and enjoy a glass of wine alfresco style while you take in the spectacular country scenery surrounding Hungry Creek Bed and Breakfast. Take a relaxing stroll in the garden, feed the resident ducks and chickens or indulge in a quiet spot of fishing or why not paddle up the river to historic Puhoi for a lunch?

Reviews

"What a treat! Fabulous country setting and a pleasant drive to Matakana and the local vineyards. The pricing was also very affordable, certainly great value for money. Really enjoyed the boat ride with Phil down the river to the Puhoi pub and the spot of fishing we did off the bridge afterwards. We will be back in a heart beat, can't wait!
